Yael is an Australian who lives in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael Stone was a graduate of NIDA. Yael was fortunate enough at a young age to have worked with some of Australia's top storytellers and performers, as well as pioneers within the TV, film and theatre fields. Yael's professional career is thriving in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was delighted to find her new home when Brooklyn Academy of Music, which was the venue where the production premiered to high praise, was her new home in New York City.
